This 28-year-old woman had a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) with Dr. Moises Salama. Fat was removed with liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and back, then purified and transferred to the buttocks and hips, 1,300 cc per side, to add volume and shape while slimming the waist.

Because a BBL uses the patient's own fat, it reshapes two areas at once: the abdomen, flanks and back become slimmer, and the fat transferred to the buttocks and hips (1,300 cc per side) adds volume and shape. Not all of the transferred fat survives, so the result settles over the first few months.
