This 28-year-old woman had a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) with Dr. Moises Salama. Fat was removed with liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, back and upper arms, then purified and transferred to the buttocks, 1,450 cc per side, to add volume and shape while slimming the waist.

Because a BBL uses the patient's own fat, it reshapes two areas at once: the abdomen, flanks, back and upper arms become slimmer, and the fat transferred to the buttocks (1,450 cc per side) adds volume and shape. Not all of the transferred fat survives, so the result settles over the first few months.

Compare the before and after photos from the front, angled and side views: the main changes are the added projection and roundness of the buttocks, the curve from waist to hips, and the slimmer waist, flanks and back where the fat was taken.
